The Amore Story

I’ve been a member at Amore for over 16 years. What keeps me coming back? I can’t really pin it down to one single reason, it’s really a combination of factors that has made Amore a huge part of my life. Members are friendly and always cheer each other on and celebrate big and small wins together. Each time I enter Amore, I’m always greeted with warm smiles and the front counter staff show great customer service. They remember me by name and take time to engage in conversation. People like Joey in Tampines 1, Barbara and Syafina in Heartland Mall are ever bright and cheerful when I walk into the outlet. The instructors here at Amore have also inspired me to be stronger and healthier than I was 16 years back. They take the time to plan out classes, listen and motivate the members to a higher level. The wide range of group classes available have allowed me to learn new things over the years. It has taken me many years but one instructor, Mickey, has convinced me to enjoy a good dance class. Nino who teaches Kickbox is something I look forward to as well. Yoga with Adele helps to balance my mind and soul. It’s no wonder I keep coming back to Amore for more ❤️

I’m so glad to have found Amore, not only do they provide a great gym space but also many different types of classes for women to attend. It is such a safe space and I get to choose when I want to attend classes according to my schedule. The instructors here are really knowledgeable and friendly. They also often give advice on how to do it right and why we do it in a certain way. After attending Amore’s classes, I always feel refreshed and pumped!

I had a very bad case of plantar fasciitis and seeked help from many places but nothing seemed to help. It was only when I went for my usual massage at Amore Define Hillion Mall that I spoke to my regular therapist Ling Ling about it. She suggested a moxibustion treatment and was extremely detailed during my massage sessions to find out the exact pain source to loosen the tension. After a session or two, I could feel my calf muscles loosen – I was so happy and also very impressed by Ling Ling’s dedication to resolving my pain and I can’t help but feel extremely grateful to her.

Joining Amore and working out regularly has helped me in many ways. Firstly, my blood pressure is now in a healthy and normal range. Secondly, I first joined Amore with 2 torn tendons in my right ankle and was not able to put pressure on that foot. Now, I am able to stand on my right leg for a little longer without wobbling. I’d also like to highlight that Barre and Barreless classes by Alma has helped to strengthen my legs and plus point they look slimmer now.

I love Amore’s zumba classes as they have well trained instructors such as Brian, Joseph and Den who use amazing songs and curate fun zumba steps to follow. The studio itself is also equipped with fancy LED lighting, air conditioning and fans. The Amore staff are always helpful and friendly, especially Angie at Seletar Mall. I equally enjoy my spa sessions with well trained therapists such as Coco who know and pay attention to my needs. Overall, Amore has provided me with a holistic experience. Although I am busy with work, I always look forward to going to Amore whenever I have the time. Cheers!

It’s always a treat to go to Amore Define at Plaza Singapura because I know I’ll be pampered by the services and treatments. The ladies at the counter are friendly and always put on the best smiles. They take note of my personal preferences and will look out for me when there is an available time slot on occasions when I am unable to book my preferred slots. During my facial and massage sessions, my stress and tensions melt away while chatting leisurely with my therapists. At the end of the treatments, I always leave feeling relaxed and refreshed!
